It Is Friday, But It Is Not Over. Sunday Is Coming!

I have added a passage of my book Come My Little Rose; Let Us Walk In The Cool Of The Day: The Gospel According to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John All Rights Reserved

I hope that the Lord speaks to you through it.

Matthew Chapter 21

21:1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 21:3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 21:4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 21:5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 21:6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 21:7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 21:8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 21:9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

From Hosanna to Crucify!

I hear crucify him! It is Palm Sunday, just a few days before Calvary. Despite the people laying the red carpet at His feet, they ultimately delivered Him to be crucified. Although there is no need to hold a grudge against them, they acted without understanding. It is never wise to rely on popularity, followers, circumstances, or prestige from others. Instead, one should rely on God, the only unshakable foundation.

On Palm Sunday, Jesus was welcomed as a king, and the people celebrated with jubilation and ecstasy. However, on Thursday, their expectations were not met, and Jesus did not conform to their standards. He did not attempt to overthrow the Romans, free Israel, or claim the throne. Consequently, on Friday, He was crucified.

How fast can we go from Hosanna to the Cross?

The Lamb of God In Golgotha

The place Golgotha on the hill of Calvary was out of the city. He was cut off out of land of the living. (Isa 53:8). He is brought as a lamb to slaughter and as sheep before her sheerer is dumb (Isa 53:7). Slaughtering a lamb is an awful sight, and it is a sobering reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Innocently brought to the place of execution, it stands there gentle and defenseless with expressive eyes which speak of fear, so innocent to die. The butcher ties its legs and lies it on its side, breathing heavily, looking helpless. The butcher strikes, and the blood pours out while the little lamb convulses with its last breath. The lamb of God died with much more agony resulting from intense torture. It is a brutal reminder of the depths of suffering that Jesus endured to save us from our sins. How could such purity and innocence be tormented like that? It is a question that we may never fully understand, but it is a testament to the depth of God’s love for us.

Why This Agonizing Death?

We have limited details of Christ’s suffering in the Bible, our official, scriptural account. Luke gives more information about torture and flogging but not enough. However, considering the most significant event in the history of humankind, many historians, Roman soldiers, scribes, Jewish believers, ancient medical papers, early Catholic research, and post-ancient studies have become a source of what really happened during the night of prison in Sanhedrim and the excruciating torture before the crucifixion. His prosecution was the most brutal legal travesty of all time.

According to the writings of Eusebius, St. Ambrose, St. Alphonsus Liguori, St. Bonaventure, and especially St. Laurence Justinian, I have acquired a picture of the ongoing torture from Sanhedrim to Pilate, from Pilate to the place of torment, which continued until the last moment the Cross was put on the hill of Calvary. Evidence shows that He was also tortured at the prison under Sanhedrim while waiting for His trial, but we solely follow the events after His trial before Pilate.

The agonizing torture was an endless series of the most gruesome technics invented by Romans to instigate fear in the heart of traitors and captivated nations.

Paced in the Garden of Gethsemane, He knew what He would go through and sweated blood. Today it is medically proven that under severe mental stress, bold vessels can erupt and cause bleeding through the skin as sweat.

Why the cruel scouring and killing of someone whom all knew to be innocent?

Pilate washed his hands against His blood. He tried to save Him by graciously excusing Barabas, a criminal, and then by sentencing a severe punishment to change the Pharisees’ minds. However, when he failed to convince them and sentenced Him to crucifixion, the torture continued until the end.

The weapon of choice for scourging was a flagellum, a nine-tailed whip with metal tips and bone fragments on the back of each thong. It was designed to tenderize the muscle and meat, break open with further blows, and severely cut the flesh. It was whipping, and scourging, and one happened after the other—first, whipping, which sometimes could be so severe to expose the spine. It would go from the shoulder down to the buttocks and the head, neck, and back of the legs. Second, scourging would tear apart an already torn-apart body into producing “ribbons of bleeding flesh,” as Eusebius says. The Lord received 39 of those stripes. On top of that, Jesus was crowned with solid and sharp thorns dug into His scalp and severely injured His major nerves during His journey from Pilate to the Cross, and each time they hit Him, the thorns dug deeper into His scalp. The hitting, spitting, and mocking continued throughout Via Dolorosa up to Calvary.

And now, I will not go through the excruciating ritual of the Cross except that to nail Him on the Cross, the soldiers stretched His arms for 6 inches and dislocated His right shoulder. Then the Cross should stand vertically, and His weight against the spikes while He already had lost a whole amount of blood, the stress on the diaphragm makes it a slow and agonizing death. For every single breath, He had to push Himself upward against those nails and push His knees and legs; the nail would tear through the foot, besides He was exhausted from carrying his Cross. And He was utterly unable to push up and breathe, and this was the moment of death, which He took all that had remained in Him to say:  Father, into your hands I commit my spirit and die of cardiac arrest.

The purpose of writing these details is not to sensationalize the book but to draw your attention to the depth of our redemption process. So please read what I am trying to say in the following passage with due diligence.

If Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, became flesh and came to this world to redeem us with His precious blood, the shedding of His holy blood on the Cross would have been sufficient for the Father. Being born of a woman, growing in a womb, and experiencing all the physical and emotional challenges of human life was already a significant sacrifice for God. The fact that Jesus was not always recognized and loved by those He came to save was also tormenting. However, shedding His blood as the Son of God was enough to redeem us and allow for reconciliation between humanity and the Father.

In the old testament, animals would be sacrificed to redeem the sins. No matter the crime, the animal’s blood was sufficient when the verdict was to offer the animal. There is nowhere in the Old Testament where we see an animal tortured before being sacrificed. Even on the day of atonement, where the High Priest would offer two different basins of blood, one for His sins and one for the whole nation’s sins, the animal was never tortured to death.

So why was Jesus brutally tortured? Did we not see that every incident during His three and half years of ministry was figured out and planned, even His resurrection? So why was He tortured to death? What was the reason for the slow butchering?

Because With His Stripes, We Are Healed!

We are not just redeemed, we are HEALED and redeemed, and the chastisement of our peace was upon His shoulders; now our peace should come back to us (Isa 53). Because He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, so we should not grieve and sorrow; he took them all, but we esteemed Him not stricken. It pleased the Father to bruise Him and put Him to grief, but with His Stripes, WE ARE HEALED. Peter says: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2: 24). If you WERE healed two thousand years ago, so you ARE healed.

Hallelujah! See beloved; it is diligently painful for Him to see how the real meaning of His torture is ignored and How His people suffer despite having every means to be joyful, healthy, and abundant.

Author's note at the end of each post: -"Your biggest problem is so small for such a big God"-Ella Cruz" The Bible serves as the blueprint of faith, and the New Testament provides us with God's faith and the power to perform miracles through faith and the name of Jesus. Regardless of the severity of cancer, healing can be achieved through faith in God's word. When Jesus raised the dead, he did not discriminate based on the level of death. He simply called forth life. Let's explore how he did it. The first time Jesus brought someone back from the dead was the daughter of Jairus, an official in Jerusalem. Although she had passed away, she was only recently deceased. The second time was the son of a widow in Nain who had been dead for just one day. Lastly, Jesus raised Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha in Bethany, who had been dead for three days. He raised them all. No matter how insurmountable your problem may seem, Jesus is the resurrection and the light. Ella Cruz World's events are happening so fast. Global Governance 2015, Agenda 2030, Agenda 2050, Antarctica, Mars, CERN, G5, The United Nations, The European Union, the Club of Rome, and the false prophets of the Vatican all together, we see that the satanic global government is imminent, and it shall come to pass. The mark of the beast will be obligatory. You are either a Christian or not. If you are, you believe this because it is predicted 2000 years ago in the Bible. But if you are not a Christian, you read the news and notice that the satanic world government is their agenda. Their Global Governance 2025 is terribly close. Their Green New Deal 12-year timeline matches the agenda 2030. We have a short time to prepare ourselves. Born-again Christians are happy and calm. Why? Why do we joyfully dedicate ourselves to the nation, knowing that we will be chased and prosecuted? Because we are dedicated to the Kingdom. "Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done." 1. We firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2. We hold the Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God. 3. We believe that God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins. Through His precious blood, all our sins are washed away and forgiven. 4. We believe that the price for our salvation, health, prosperity, happiness, and eternal life has been paid by the blood of Jesus. These gifts are freely available to us through the grace of God. By His stripes, we were healed 2000 years ago. 5. We acknowledge that by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit. We are baptized by the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us and communicates with us through dreams, visions, speeches, videos, books, and other means. This communication begins immediately after our salvation. 6. We firmly believe that Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. As born-again believers, we receive the same DNA as Jesus Christ, with the same miraculous abilities through faith. Just as the apostles performed signs and wonders like Jesus, we too can accomplish these miracles through faith, and the Lord will work through us. 7. We condemn the Vatican's religion and many false prophets who have deceived Christians for centuries, hiding the true message of the Bible and the Good News from people to maintain their power. We welcome all denominations and strive for unity in the body of Christ. 8. We believe that a born-again Christian never truly dies. When a believer's life on earth ends, they are promoted to heaven, and death holds no power over them. In heaven, we experience immense joy, love, peace, and the glory of God. Those who have had near-death experiences or have seen Jesus in a vision or dream know the indescribable relief and joy of being in His presence. To answer the question of why we are happy, we say that we could happily die at any moment. In fact, we long to go home and be with our Lord. However, we know that each one of us has a mission and purpose revealed to us by the Holy Spirit after our born-again experience. For the sake of fulfilling that mission, we remain joyful and relaxed in the spirit, knowing that we are called to save people by preaching the Gospel and bringing them to Jesus. To be born again, you just need to say: Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal savior, Come to my heart, Forgive my sins, Wash me away, Make me a new person, And live inside of me. In the Name of Jesus from Nazareth, Amen. And that's it. You are saved! Jesus will reveal Himself to you, and your life will undergo a significant transformation. Your marriage, health (especially addiction), finances, and all areas of your life will experience an extraordinary change. And never look back. In Jesus Almighty name. Amen.
